Anne of Green Gables

Opis

Anne of Green Gables tells the story of Anne Shirley, a spirited, imaginative, and red-haired orphan who is mistakenly sent to live with elderly siblings Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert at Green Gables, a farm in Avonlea on Prince Edward Island.

Initially intending to adopt a boy to help with the farm work, the Cuthberts are surprised by Anne’s arrival. Despite the rocky start, Anne’s endearing personality and vivid imagination win over the hearts of the Cuthberts and the entire village. Anne navigates friendships, school, and the challenges of growing up, all while trying to balance her lively imagination with the realities of her new life. Through her adventures and misadventures, Anne transforms Green Gables and the community around her, making this coming-of-age tale a timeless classic.
