Earl Grey is a tea of distinction and sophistication, named after 2nd Earl Charles Grey of Britain back in the 1830’s. He was Prime Minister to King William IV and the legend is that the Earl was given the recipe by a Chinese Mandarin with whom he was friends, and whose life he saved. It is one of the most popular and best known teas in the western world.
